Architect Ben van Berkel has been inspired by Rotterdam’s breathtaking skyline, the robustness of the city’s buildings, and its toughness.
The One will have a robust design with a playful look through different structures and randomly placed balconies. However, the green, finished roof with terraces is what gives The One so much character. It is a unique building that symbolizes meeting each other, in a central location that connects the Wijnhavenkwartier and the Blaak. Here, you can find a preview of what this diamond will look like in 2024.
